Assistant Restaurant Manager

The Food & Beverage services in the hotel are extensive and comprehensive. Our goal is to offer our guests experiences throughout the day. Our Brasserie restaurant is inspired by French cuisine. Restaurant also serves sumptuous breakfast and classic afternoon tea. With the help of accompanying Kämp Bar, these two create a restaurant experience worth remembering. What it comes to meetings and events, we want to offer the best settings to organize venues in Helsinki and make our guest´s events unforgettable one.

Now we are looking for Assistant Restaurant Manager to support our Head of Restaurants with the wide selection of hotel’s F&B services.

This position is permanent and full-time, starting flexibly in August and September. Our F&B operations are open all year round and almost 24 hours a day, so you need to be prepared to work even in the evenings and holidays. When needed, you will substitute Head of Restaurants.

The main task is to plan and execute all the relevant operations together with our team that will aim to provide excellent service to our guests. Therefore, to be successful at work, you need strong organizational skills, a real passion for creating unforgettable experiences, and a desire to lead by example. Your regular tasks include: planning and updating the work shifts according to business, inventory management process, developing, terminating and following up of the standards and targets with the team, handling guest feedback and motivating the team.

You are the person we are looking for if you are experienced in F&B operations and delivering flawless, detailed service is important to you. Your communication skills are grounded to a positive attitude that can turn potential challenges into a success. This will help you to train and guide our team to follow the standards that are set. You have passion towards food and drinks. We appreciate the initiative to work, systematic and flexible attitude. You can communicate at least in English, preferably in Finnish also. The genuine interest of taking care of our guests' unique events in accordance with the values of Hotel Kämp, putting your own person in the game, is essential.

You may have a strong background as a Head Waiter, Supervisor or Manager in the field and are looking for new challenges.
