We are now looking for Executive Chef, a hands-on individual, who has the skills to take full responsibility of our kitchen operations and to be a true inspiration for our kitchen team. Position is permanent and full-time, starting as soon as the right individual has been found.

The main task is to provide direction for all day-to-day operations in the kitchen that will aim to provide excellent food experiences to our guests, in all our F&B outlets, where the food sales share is annually several millions. You are responsible for the consistent preparation of creative cuisine of the highest quality, presentation and flavors in our Brasserie restaurant, as well as operate as a direct manager for this team. You are leading by example and energize the whole kitchen team as we want to help them grow by developing their experience and skills. You will work closely with our Chef de Cuisine in Meetings&Events and Chef de Pâtissier and support them in developing menu items.

Your responsibility is to ensure that all products are prepared in a consistent manner and meet departmental appearance/quality standards. You will have total responsibility of portion sizes, cost and attractive plating of dishes in all areas. You need to have experience in setting performance standards and monitoring these to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met. As guests are in the core of our business your regular tasks include reviewing guest feedback to identify areas of improvement. You are also eager to engage actively with the guests, which supports our goal to build a loyal and happy customer base. In food cost, labor costs, food safety regulations and other back office operations you will be supported by our Assistant Executive Chef.

You are the person we are looking for if you have strong and successful managerial experience, preferably in hotels´, kitchen operations in a similar position. Your communication skills are grounded to a positive attitude that can turn potential challenges into success. You can communicate at least in English, preferably also in Finnish. Our operations are open all year around, so you need to be prepared to work even in the evenings and holidays to give your full support to the team.
