Sous Chef, Hotel Kämp (Meetings & Events)

Hotel Kämp is like a celebrity of the Finnish hotel business, the one everyone knows and whose fame and success are both envied and admired. Restaurant also serves sumptuous breakfast and classic afternoon tea. With the help of accompanying Kämp Bar, these two create a restaurant experience worth remembering. When it comes to meetings and events, we want to offer the best settings to organize venues in Helsinki and make our guest´s events unforgettable one.

Now we are looking for a Sous Chef to lead M&E kitchen operations in our own shift.

This position is permanent and full-time (112,5 hours / 3 weeks), starting flexibly in October. Our F&B operations are open all year round and almost 24 hours a day. This means that you need to be prepared to work even in the evenings and holidays.

We are looking for a professional who is passionate about food and has experience in leading and developing M&E kitchen functions. You know how to lead large, hectic entities and working in an international team is familiar to you. You are a positive, inspiring, innovative and solution-oriented team leader. You understand and manage the processes that affect the quality and efficiency of operations in all areas of the kitchen. You want to lead your team with your own example and customer satisfaction guides you. Daily duties include development of products and kitchen functions together with our Head Chefs, cooking, quality control, inventory management and order process.

You are the person we are looking for if you have a positive attitude, value quality, take responsibility for your work and are a team player. You can communicate in English and/or in Finnish. The genuine interest of taking care of our guests' unique events in accordance with the values of Hotel Kämp, putting your own person in the game, is essential.
